The HV125 Maxi is an extra-tall vent cap designed for both natural and mechanical ventilation, including exhaust from kitchens, bathrooms, and utility rooms. the vent specially manufactured for areas with heavy snow loads, so a snow guard should also be installed along with the vent. The base plate is manufactured separately and customized to the specific roof profile to ensure a perfect fit. This makes it easy for the roofer to install the vent with the rest of the roof and ensure a tight fit.
The top is adjusted to the roof pitch and secured in a vertical position with the 4 included screws.
Moist indoor air condenses when it cools in an uninsulated ventilation pipe. Therefore, the HV125 Maxi is supplied with an integrated insulated pipe.
